Short version: this website doesn't use tracking cookies, analytics or ads, and it doesn't collect anything on its own. If you contact me, I use your info only to reply to you and to do the work you ask for. I never sell or share it with marketers.
Who I am
Building Sites USA is run by Noah Kurek, 306 W Water Street, Sandusky, OH 44870. You can reach me at noahbuildssites@gmail.com or 904-532-0193.
What this website collects
Nothing on its own. There are no cookies, no analytics, no ad trackers and no forms that send data to a server. The site is hosted on GitHub Pages, and GitHub may log basic technical data such as IP addresses for security. See GitHub's privacy statement.
When you contact me
If you email, call or text me, or use the free website checkup form (which opens your own email app with a pre-filled message to me), I receive what you choose to send. That's usually your name, business name, email or phone number, your website or Facebook link, and your message.
I use it only to:
- reply to you and do your free mockup or checkup,
- build, host and maintain your website if you become a client, and
- keep basic business and billing records.
I don't add you to a mailing list and I don't sell, rent or share your information with marketers. Emails are handled by Google (Gmail), and calls and texts by my phone carrier.
Public business information
To make free mockups, I may use information your business already publishes, like your name, address, phone number, hours and services from your Google or Facebook listing. Preview sites are shared privately with the owner and are marked so search engines don't index them. If you'd like a preview of your business taken down, just ask and I'll remove it.
If you become a client
I'll use the details needed to run your site, such as your domain, business info and the content you send me. If I send you an online payment link, the payment company (for example, Stripe) processes your card. I never see or store your full card number.
How long I keep it
I keep messages and client records only as long as needed to work with you and to keep normal business and tax records. You can ask me to delete your information at any time, unless I need to keep it for legal or tax reasons.
Your choices
Email noahbuildssites@gmail.com or call/text 904-532-0193 to see, correct or delete the information you've sent me, or to ask me to stop contacting you.
Changes
If this policy changes, I'll update it here and change the effective date above.
